We are honored to host distinguished and accomplished Muslim women as guest speakers in our series. These speakers come from diverse fields, ranging from comedians to accomplished students and professors at reputable American universities, CEOs, and lawyers inspiring young Muslim women with their successful stories and experiences.

Hebatella (Heba) Mohamed [8/13]
Heba is a graduate of Harvard University with a degree in the History of Science and received an award for her senior thesis. She also held multiple leadership positions within Harvard's Arabic organizations.

Leena Memon [8/20]
Leena is a college student at Princeton University in New Jersey, majoring in operations research and financial engineering. She is the president of her school's Muslim Student Association and Society of Women Engineers.

Imaan Mirza [8/20]
Imaan is a third year student at Harvard University studying history and literature. She works as a constitutional legal history researcher and serves as a board member of the Harvard Advocate.

Yasmin Elhady [8/24]
Yasmin works as an immigration attorney and also pursues her passions in comedy and philanthropy. When not representing clients, you can catch her performing at prestigious venues like the Kennedy Center.

Dr. Sarah Eltantawi [8/27]
Dr. Eltantawi holds a PhD in Religion from Harvard University and is an Associate Professor of Islam at Fordham University. Additionally, she works as a political analyst, an accomplished author, and a radio show host.

Dr. Maram Essawy [9/3]
Dr. Essawy is an Egyptian-American who recently received her PhD in pharamacology from the University of Minnesota. She is passionate about helping non scientists be confident with their knowledge in science.

Dr. Venus Mahmoodi [9/10]
Dr. Mahmoodi is a Psychiatry Professor at Columbia University's Irving Medical Center. Her primary research area revolves around mental health.

Amira Abudiab [9/17]
Amira is a licensed professional clinical counselor with a masters degree in mental health counseling and concentration in substance abuse. She is the co-founder and CEO of the mental health organization Amaly.

Halima Said [9/17]
Halima is a licensed professional clinical counselor with a master's degree in multicultural community counseling and social justice education. She is the co-founder and CEO of the mental health organization Amaly.

Lina Tewala [9/24]
Lina is a MD/PhD student at Emory University School of Medicine/Georgia Tech Biomedical Engineering in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sarah Hamimi [9/24]
Sarah holds a bachelors and masters degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and is currently a MD candidate at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Anum Ahmed [10/8]
Anum is a second-year college student at Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City, majoring in Computer Science. She has been featured on CBS News, founded her own organization, and gained experience working for various reputable tech companies.

Salma Saifuddin [8/15]
Salma is a second-year medical student at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in New Jersey. In addition to her studies, she runs a blog called "The Working Premed."
